THURSDAY - MAY 13th — Our travels this morning take us south through Indiana soon to arrive at the Ohio River. Here we will board our awaiting riverboat for a superb luncheon cruise. While dining we will enjoy spectacular scenery on both the Ohio and Kentucky shoreline — along with complete commentary; a great way to start our time in the Cincinnati area. Once the boat docks we'll visit the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption, a one-third replica of Notre Dame in Paris. This architectural gem has recently undergone a multi-million dollar renovation and features a gothic design, complete with gargoyles and flying buttresses. Among its 82 stained glass windows, it has the largest window in the world and a rose window larger than Notre Dame's. This is one of only 31 Basilicas in the country, and is considered the most beautiful. Following the tour we'll make our way to our lodging were you'll have a chance to freshen-up prior to departing for the La Comedia Dinner Theatre for an evening of great dining and theatre. This evening we'll be entertained by Church Basement Ladies — a celebration of the church basement kitchen and the women who work there. This new musical comedy follows four women as they prepare food and solve the problems of a rural Minnesota church in 1964. From the elderly matriarch of the kitchen to the young bride-to-be learning the proper order of things, we see them handle a record-breaking Christmas dinner, the funeral of a dear friend, an Easter fund-raiser and a steaming hot July wedding. They stave off potential disasters, share and debate recipes, instruct the young and keep the pastor on course. What a way to spend an evening with good clean laughs and memorable characters. It will be heavenly fun for all!

FRIDAY - MAY 14th — Following a good night’s rest and a delicious breakfast we'll board our motorcoach for another day of adventure. Our day begins at the New Creation Museum. This 60,000-square-foot "walk through history" museum is an alternative to the evolutionary natural history museums. You'll see how its interpretation of the Bible — the "History Book of the Universe" — provides an account of the beginning of all things. You will journey through a visual presentation of the history of the world, based on its "7 C's" of History — Creation, Corruption, Catastrophe, Confusion, Christ, Cross and Consummation. Here you will discover an interpretation of how science actually confirms biblical history. While at this museum we will visit the Planetarium, which proclaims the authority of the Bible from its very first verse. Before beginning our homeward journey we have a special treat in store — a visit to Jungle Jim's International Market. This unique store has six acres under roof and offers food from dozens of countries, exotic fruits and vegetables, 1,600 different cheeses, one thousand hot sauces, hundreds of different honeys, 800 different beers and thousands of different wines.
