THURSDAY - JUNE 24th This morning we'll board our motorcoach and begin our travels south toward Nashville making stops enroute for your comfort. Upon our arrival in Nashville we'll have a chance to settle in our rooms and then we're off with a hotel guide to explore this most distinctive property. Our tour will feature all the popular areas of the three beautiful southern garden interior spaces: The Conservatory the original garden, covering two acres, devotes itself to tropical plants and exquisite natural lighting; The Cascades spanning 2.5 acres, features waterfalls splashing off a man-made mountain into a 125,000-square-foot lake; and The Delta Opryland’s newest indoor garden, opened in 1996, covering a colossal 4.5 acres and featuring an indoor river complete with passenger-carrying boats. Following our tour you'll enjoy dinner at one of their delightful restaurants, where you'll have a chance to relax before we make our way to the Opry House for the spectacular performance of Daniel O'Donnell. This evening you'll be totally entertained with his traditional Irish ballads, country favorites, rock 'n roll, pop and traditional gospel, all with an Irish twist. He is without a doubt the most successful easy listening/country entertainer in Great Britain and Ireland. You'll leave in total awe of your evening with this great entertainer.
FRIDAY - JUNE 25th This morning will be yours to enjoy breakfast at your leisure before making our way to our awaiting motorcoach to begin a tour of Music City USA Nashville with our local guide pointing out many interesting facts about this amazing city. This afternoon we'll board the world's largest showboat for a cruise on the Cumberland River. While cruising we'll enjoy a delicious meal and great entertainment. To complete our day in Music City USA we're off to the Grand Ole Opry, the world's longest-running live radio show, which has entertained millions for over eight decades. Each show is a fast-paced combination of music, pageantry and comedy performed by a full line-up of country music greats.
SATURDAY - JUNE 26th I'm sorry to say it's time to pack your bags, but you'll have time to once again enjoy breakfast in this beautiful setting and then we're off to The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. Here we will view exhibited films, costumes, instruments and lyric sheets from musical pioneers and many music greats. The museum presents the crown jewels of its vast collection to illustrate country music’s story as told through the turn of the century. Our day continues as we begin our journey home bringing with us many great memories of our exciting time in Music City USA!
