Nicholas Machine, LLC was established in 1983 and presently employs seven people with over one hundred years of combined machining experience. Currently a 5,000 square foot facility, Nicholas Machine, LLC remains competitive in the market by updating capabilities as needed to meet customer demands.
The company specializes in building molds and tooling for the investment casting, plastic injection and ceramic injection industries. Sizes range from small single cavity manual wax molds, through various types of plastic insert molds to multi cavity plastic molds and large wax molds. One of a kind custom parts and short run production machining is also possible.
Recently, improvement of capabilities was achieved with the addition of a LeBlond Makino EDNC65 CNC EDM sinker machine and Mastercam Version X CAD CAM. Machining equipment includes six Haas vertical machining centers. The latest addition is a Haas with 30 hp and 10,000 rpm spindle. Other manual machines are listed on the companies equipment list. Equipment is continuously updated to stay competitive with the industry.
