We travel today to Holland, Michigan to enjoy their Annual Tulip Time Festival celebrating Dutch Heritage and the beauty of millions of colorful spring flowers in their finest bloom. We'll travel down Tulip Lane with approximately 6 miles of tulips in brilliant array lining Holland's streets. From here we will make our way to observe the Alumni Street Scrubbing with over 1,400 Klompen Dancers performing Old World-style Dutch Dances in authentic turn-of-the-century costumes and wooden shoes. We'll then return to our coach and make our way to Evergreen Commons where you'll enjoy a delicious lunch served right at your table, followed by a highly popular song and dance musical extravaganza - "On Broadway" - featuring the music of Broadway along with a little country, some gospel and a big red, white and blue finale. Our day continues as we return to the downtown area for the Kinderparade. This colorful parade gives over 7,000 area school children the opportunity to greet the visitors. Dressed in Dutch costumes, the children showcase Holland's Dutch Heritage with their creative use of props as they march with contagious enthusiasm. Now it's time to sit back and relax as we are entertained by one of America's most endearing and enduring stars - TONY ORLANDO. A day in Holland would not be complete without a visit to peddler's Tulip Farm with millions of tulips blooming brilliantly. While at the farm you can also visit the only delftware factory in the USA as well as watch wooden shoes be made.
