Today we'll travel to Chicago - The Garden City - where a local guide will join us as we set out to explore Chicago's Northside. One of the highlights of our tour will be the magnificent Elks National Memorial building. This structure is one of the city's grandest public spaces and is a memorial to the men and women who have served in the armed forces. While touring the northside we'll visit the Lincoln Park Conservatory to see their colorful Spring Flower display. Lunch today will be at Ann Sather's, where you will swoon over the melt-in-your-mouth cinnamon rolls. Our day will continue as we stop at Bloomers Chocolate Outlet where you can stock up on chocolate goodies enroute to the Chicagoland Flower & Garden Show. As you enter the show you'll be transported from the bleak Midwestern winter into a full-bloom oasis which heralds the promise of Spring with a burst of welcome color, warmth and cheer. In an adjacent hall there will be a Home Lifestyle Expo featuring the wares of furniture, lighting, window/door, and other home improvement vendors. There is plenty for you to see and do at this year's show - so make plans to brighten up your day with a touch of "Spring."
